Please use the word Japanese, not Nihonese

Nihonese is not a real word. Nihon is the real name of Japan, the word that the Japanese use. However, if you want to use the true term for "of Japan" you would use "Nihon no." However, if you used Nihon no in an English sentence, you would be mixing languages, which is improper. The English term for "Nihon no" is "Japanese," so just stick with that.

P.S. Well done, Dad. Also, if you go to the "Control Panel" from the Start menu of your computer, you should be able to navigate your way to an option to install more languages. This will require a Windows XP install or update CD, and there are several of those sitting in the second drawer from the top of the wooden desk in my room, feel free to use them.

James.
Griswold cousin update:
Sam is dating hot(...possibly smoking hot junior girl); Lucy is with her mama, aunt Be tsui, this weekend for fall break. Their activities include dave Matthews concert in San Jose Saturday night then onto LA for a couple days; Willie just finished the park tudor middle school football season; and, Charlie was "on strike" this past week at school....did not want to follow the school rule of tucking in his shirt so he tried to create a mutiny. Strike ended at 11:45am wednesday morning because he didn't want to miss lunch or recess. Your uncle Tom is sending you a DVD of the Bob & Tom Show Comedy Special that premiered on the Comedy Channel last month...in case you need a good dose of inappropriate humor.
love from be tsui

James - It has taken a long time for me to get an address that gets me to this site, but I have been taking it in on Grams's computer. Now I am up and running, and want you to know how much I appreciate your reports. Now you'll hear from me now and then. But I'm disappointed that you doubt that I solved the 2/3 of an egg problem in the twinkling of an I.

Yesterday Grams and I paid Nick the respect by going to the Chuck Wagon to try a Nicky's Special. At least half of the diners (is that the right word?) were pigging out on the delicacy de la maison.

For a long indigestion-free life, stick to sushi.
